Monster Hunter 4 is not enough for vita, imo... even if a big help.

I don't know, I believe the 3ds version will outsell vita's, even if they come at the same time.

Vita needs exclusive games. Games you think "vita only" and that is PS3 included.

Doomed Vita is Doomed?

Why is everyone so hellbent on the Vita having to beat the 3DS or smart phone for it to be considered a success? Can't it just do its own thing and leave it at that? You asked for "Vita Only experience" it got Uncharted GA the critics said that can't compete with the 3DS of the world and the 3rd party exclusives it has (ala Monster Hunter) if in the hypothetical scenario where the Vita gets MH4, I get the feeling more will echo your sentiment of it not beating the 3DS.

1: It's a given that Nintendo rule the dedicated handheld market and most likely anything on both consoles will do better on the 3DS so why even mention it?

2: If we want that "Vita Only" experience, maybe we should stop looking over the shoulder of everyone else and look solely at the Vita. My belief is if the Developers weren't lazy and definetely took the time to make the Vita versions of games incorparate the unique features of the Vita, they could have their game on every platform to ever exist and STILL be able to create something unique.

E.G FiFa Football. It's basically Fifa 11 miniturised from the ps3 to the psv so what makes this different to the PS3 version? you can use the rare touch pad to aid in shooting when aiming at the goal, you can use the touchscreen to measure passes forgoing the need for the "through pass button" which (admittedly I'm not a Fifa guy so I don't know how true this is) was a pain in the neck according to some.

So in summary, instead of looking at what the 3DS/PS3 is doing/getting just look at how the Vita is/can do it differently.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.
