The exchange of Wii codes would buy him additional time. It takes about a day until the Wii codes are verified on both consoles and an exchange of messages is possible.

Nevertheless, it's the most concrete meassure of proof. If he gives out a working friend code today and a picture with his name and VGChartz next to the Wii then I'm willing to let him wait one day for the friend code to verify. It won't let you enter an incorrect friend code, so it's still a valid early test. |
Can't he do that with his friend's Wii (if his friends DO have a Wii)? It's still not that valid.
If he doesn't give proof in less than 5 hours, he's banned for the month, or that perma-ban.

He can, that's why it's important for him to have the working friend code so that he can respond to messages. It's also why it has to be registered under Joel or Leo-j.
