I've said it many times Nintendo has held the handheld crown for far to long the Vita is hear and it's a force to reckon with. What with the perfect controls to a handheld gaming device, great new app features (so does the 3DS) and some of the top graphics out there (since when better graphics = more sales?) it's only a matter of time before it begins to outsell the competition. Price is a little way to high for now but as price cut's come sales will explode time after time (as we saw with the PSP, oh wait...).
Games like Monstrer Hunter (MH4 announced only for 3DS), Resident evil (not announced while 3DS already got 2 RE titles) and Final fantasy (not announced) hit in Japan there's no telling how high sales can get, and Call of Duty (not announced) in Amarica, now finally with the perfect controls and portability it's going to be a huge hit (CoD is no relevant on handheld) . And of course the one and only big game Gran Turismo would be absolute devine in Europe (See GT PSP sales), throw in some Fifa games (See FIFA games sales on PSP) and we once again we got some big system sellers few million sellers.
Now I can see the 3DS market drying up within a few years (oh really?), there main seller is the 3D their games and there really isn't much potential there (heard that argument about motion control last gen...), a lot of complaints of head aches (Never heard about that) and limiting age group (there is no limiting age on Vita's games?), the updated graphics isn't huge (about the same as N64 to Wii) and from what we seen from the Wii it limited the amount of quality games from other big companies (since when better graphics = better quality?), there's a huge library of games out now can be ported to the PS Vita with similar graphics, huge potential (the same goes with 3DS with the plus value of 3D graphics). And honestly I dunno how long Nintendo can keep up the remakes (they give what customers want, just look at the sales of those remakes) and sequels to the same games they have (lol and there is no sequels from Sony, won't enumerate them all...) , how many more decades are people going to buy basically the same game with updated graphics and a new name of console next to the title (why not asking the same question for Sony franchises?), not saying they don't make new IP's but they really should invest more money in it.
Yeh the PS Vita has a way to go but give it time, soon enough it'll take over (wishful thinking) much like the PS3 (PS3 is still in third position) many more price cuts left to come.
