so you know, the 'new best friend' deal was about the Mario RPG thing, I adore that game and wish they'd make a proper sequel.  GET ONE ON THE WIIU AND I'LL BUY IT! 

Yea, same here. Paper Mario is great too, but it doesn't feel like a hardcore JRPG like SMRPG.

SMRPG is probably my most played JRPG. I've beaten it at least 5 times, and except for Mass Effect 2 and a couple others, I never replay RPG's. SMRPG has a charm to it.

Well Mario RPG is my second favorite game of all time (Next to Final Fantasy VI), and I've probably played it (I'm not even kidding) well over 3 dozen times.  I've even got the super suit (100 jumps).  Needless to say, I love having that game on my Wii, that and the Donkey Kong Country games get more playtime than actual Wii titles.  how sad is THAT?
