Well, Metroid Prime was released in the same year as Warcraft III, which is one of the five or so games I'd rank above it.

I prefer Echoes to Corruption. The latter, I feel, is too simple, streamlined, and just generally easy thanks to the pointer controls, the addition of the Hyper Mode, (which is just a bit too easy to abuse the Hell out of) and the abundance of easily obtainable energy tanks.

Really, you found Corruption easier then Echos? I played all of them on hard and thought Echos was the easiest. However I will add to your point that Corruption was probably the corniest of them all (ally Hunters? They all look silly), and Warcraft 3 was a damn good game.

You plan to buy Super Mario RPG? Well I guess without a box and used it's not too expensive, but man. I got mine at a garage sale for $5. SNES games in general are just too much to buy off ebay.
