The PS Vita is in an asymmetrical gaming war, because most people will compare the price of the unit and the games to a smartphone and titles like Angry Birds, and the PS Vita will lose in that style of statistical comparisons. To come back to Sony’s gamble, that’s it in a nutshell. Over its lifetime, the PS Vita will shift less units than a smartphone. Will it sell enough?

I think it deserves to. It’s the only choice for gamers looking for console gaming while out and about. The build quality is fantastic, there’s a lot of technology that will be utilised well for many years. The launch titles cover a huge amount of ground and genres, with more to come.

As a multi-year investment in your own leisure time, I can’t think of a better way to spend your money.

Didn't see this posted.

Oh by the way, they seem to love it.

@italic Uhhh... I hope they/you are kidding about this.

#1.) I didn't write it.

#2.) Yes, I agree with it. I had a PSP and I can assure you that without the 2nd analog stick you can not support all genres properly. With the Vita and it's plethora of control inputs I don't see it having issue running anything you could find on home consoles. Unless of course you bring in Kinect/Move/WiiMotion games, although in return it can run games that those can not.

With 3DS I guess you could do so with the Circle Pad pro, but unfortunately that is a peripheral and not present on all 3DS units, so it won't ever be utilized properly. Pretty much the same exact problem PS3 + Vita has when compared to the Wii U and it's tablet controller.

Vita is pretty much a home console in your hands. It truly is a wonderful device.

The 3DS though is just as worthy (better in my opinion) handheld system. It has a perfect amount of games and perfectly fine controls. It works perfectly overall. Also you need to read my other post to see my view on that. ;)

I love you NintendoPie, but if you continue making these comments, I will let Jason Biggs put his penis in you.

The only advantage the 3DS has over the PS Vita is price and games, which don't get me wrong, are some of the most important aspects of a console, but they are both subjective, and the PS Vita has only just launched so it isn't really fair to judge it in those categories yet (think of where the 3DS a few weeks after launch for comparisons sake). When it comes down to the system itself, which the guys above me were referring to, the PS Vita takes the cake...or the pie. Those guys weren't saying there was anything wrong with the 3DS, and you are right, the 3DS fine and not a completely broken system, it just isn't the best.

I'm not allowed to have my opinion? I did say it was my opinion, I'm not that biased to say that it is the best console ever. Thanks for loving me. :)

LOL< it's not even the bets handheld................ Sales dont equal better, see mcdonalds, justin beiber, aVATAR. DS sells to a younger demographicsc with lower standards. Nothing wrong with that but totally different systems.

Haha! Would you stop replying to me? And please try to put effort into your replies. Thank you.

When i see a post worthy of effort, not seen anything other then a biased ds fan rambling. Plese try and put effort in your posts, thanks.

Don't try to make witty comments, it isn't helping you.
