Another big time problem I would had is that the way Vita is now, it would have no doubt been exclusive to a carrier, most likely AT&T.
I still have 9 months left on my contract and I not eligible for a full upgrade. Vita as it is now set me back $250 before adding in games. If it was a phone expect me to have had to shell out either $500+ (Although I easily see ~$600-700 easy) right now or wait until a couple months down the line and shell out $250 AND lock myself into another 2-year plan at ridiculous rates.
If it wasn't AT&T then I would have to wait until October to even get one and even then I still get locked into a 2-year agreement.
I am dumping my plan once October hits and taking my current phone and hopping over to Metro PCS, which would give me more than I get now but for $100/month for both phones rather than the $160/month I pay now.
If Vita was a phone I would have never got one.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
