PS3 and X360 have already fired most of their best shots, released most of their best game franchises. The PS3 has erased 2.5 million of the XBox 360s 5.5 million, 1 years sales head start.
It has taken the PS3 5 years to erase 2.5 million of the XBox 360s 5.5 million first year sales. Despite Sony having a much popular brand name in Playstation especially in Europe and Japan, the PS3 is still trying to catch the XBox 360 ltd sales.
The X360 in its first year had to compete against the popular high selling PS2 and many potential buyers waited for the PS3s release in 2006.
