What really tickles me is the "Playstation" brand covers numerous consoles and devices, yet none of them are inter operable to any degreee that you would expect, and hardly interoperable whatsoever when Sony sees a money making prospect.
It's all a scam, what with Sony being the worst company in the world for forcing proprietory formats, draconian faulty DRM, suing hackers, and having a movie publishing division supporting the now dead SOPA. It makes me wonder why people would build an argument to defend decisions like this.
It's all about money at the end of the day and I'm sure Microsoft and Nintendo would act exactly the same, at least they'd not try and save on the PR budget and deliver the bad news in proffessional way, better yet, not talk crap and make false promise after false promise. It's that bit inparticular that riles me.
