No one cares about RRP in UK, RRP in UK is just something retailers use to say "Look you're saving money" and has very little basis on the actual price. |
For the sake of your arguement you have to consider it.
US price of $60 for a game includes no tax as a RRP. UK it's £50 for most game which includes tax of 20%, minus that VAT it's £40, convert that to $ it's currently in exchange rate is $63. Our UK companies would not sell at game for £50 they know this is too much for competative sake.
Based on your opening post I see nothing wrong, you price hunted and found the best deal. For every shop that sticks close to the RRP (or the one they really use £40), there will be a shop listing it for for £30.
What PSN is doing is listing the fair priced based on the RRP. Even PSN isn't hitting the RRP of Uncharted which is £45.
Hmm, pie.
