Ah the old Insult a guy on a forum routine, im so hurt. |
hurt or not it can be still the truth what someone is saying on the internet...
if you think there are no patents for the kinect technique, owned from whoever, then you are a little bit...whatever millenium said.
there are patents for round or angular edges for smartphones and even for the color of the packaging of the ipad so if you think no one has a patent for sensors or whatever needed for something like kinect you are very optimistic.
just to let you know, microsoft itself had to handle patents with kinect they didn't own so they got sued. if you think now that there aren't any patents anymore for this since last year then i believe you are the only one on this planet who thinks so. microsoft got sued, but now, when sony will use something like this, there is no way someone is owning patents harharhar. is that what you believe?
doesn't mean that sony will get problems, maybe they have a new technique, maybe they will pay royalties, maybe they own the patents for years now for all techniques needed but there are a hundreds of patents for all the techniques in kinect alone. i know that apple for example has some of the patents for gesture recognition no clue who else.
