Realistically, there is very little most companies can do to try to prevent these instances ...
There are countless "squatters" out their who look for situations like this to embarrass a company to (try to) force them to pay an outrageous price for a phone-number or web domain. I'm willing to bet that within 5 years any QR code that is designed to be scanned by a particular program will be redirected to a porn site when used in a general QR code reader.
