The boat chapter on Ephraim's route? I hate that chapter. It's the reason I've never finished Ephraim's route.

The very same one! I'm considering going in without a healer because mine is so squishy, but even Garcia is vulnerable to being annihilated in this part. That is a lot of flying enemies, and also a lot of monsters.

Ah Phantom Ship, my favorite level in the game. It's a cinch if you abuse your two prepromotes, but much more fun if you don't.

Just bring at least one healer, and equip her with a Torch Wand. Use your fliers to clear the top or bottom of enemies (it helps if at least one of them has a Torch), your tanks (for me, it's usually Gilliam/Franz/Ephraim) to thin out the horde, and the rest of your troops to press forward to the third ship once your tanks have thinned the enemies' ranks. Keep your tanks on the second ship, using the ship's masts to block the rear-attackers from reaching your weaker units, and you'll be fine. Once you realize that the front flips around turn 6, everything snaps into place.

Realistically, if you seize the choke points and use your fliers aggressively, your healers and ranged units should never take one hit.
