I've been foreseeing a new ps3 model, with a little more RAM, that is "party ready". As in cross game chat and xmb updated with a few of the friend psn features of the vita. Though I've heard that code of ps3 games could be a barrier to cross chat, the added RAM might allow for it. It would beef up the xmb, making it run faster on top of the added functionality. If the ps4 isn't hitting till 2014, or at the latest 2016 doubtfully, then this would give the ps3 a nice makeover to run it's final laps. This would also give Sony an opportunity to adjust the hardware like they did with the slim in order to lower the cost of production. Maybe even design a smaller case. I can see it now, the ps3 party, small box giant party....ok they might not use that as their campaign. This move would also coincide with slim models discounting to $200 while the new model stays at $250.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
