The thing about CoD, at least with the people I know, is that they buy it almost exclusively for the multi-player. Many have never even attempted to play the campaign. Even I, a somewhat serious gaming fanatic, have never finished he campaign of CoD Black Ops and that campaign is supposed to be four hours long.

At the same time, many of us bought expensive head sets just for this game (I wasn't serious enough to buy MW3, btw). Communication was a big deal. Community was very important. The size of the screen was VERY important. A bigger screen meant the difference between seeing the enemy or them seeing you.

No doubt that the Vita is more than capable of running an adequate CoD. My bigger concern is if it will offer anywhere near the kind of experience CoD players expect. Will we be able to talk and understand what's being said? Will we feel the explosions? Are the Vita analog sticks responsive enough? Are people willing to play the Vita version over Wi-Fi (3G? NO WAY.) when the console version is likely right there?

I think it definitely has a good chance. VITA comes with a built in mic, it can do Cross game chat and it's capable of cross-platform play online (with PS3). This needs to be a focus point on the marketing for COD on Vita. Most casual gamers (The COD and Madden/FIFA  bro type) go into a store and pick them up, all SONY needs to do is get that bitch in stores on PSVITAS so the bros can see it on that sexy OLED screen and play it for themselves.
