I wouldn't mind it if it were to bring new game prices down at least a good 25-33% or so across the board.

There's no reason in hell to justify a $60 pricetag of a downloadable only, non-transferable piece of software that come next gen will be much cheaper to produce as manufacturing is cut down on and the cost of software development reaches its plateau rather than continuing to increase.
