Good grief at 13-2's second week in the US. 75k second week, compared to 225k for FF13. In total after 2 weeks in the US FF13 was at 1.04m while FF13-2 is at 493K.
It is easily going to end up as the worst selling main title in the series since it went 3d and started getting proper Western releases. Hopefully Square will realise what massive damage 13 did to the Final Fantasy brand and get rid of the writers. Releasing 13-2 was a big mistake as well, strangely for a Japanese company they have entirely focused on short-term profits and not thought how releasing the game will impact the long term.
