I'll just put it plainly ok. If a game has the same gameplay for years, but the industry hasn't provided ways for it to improve, I have no reference to compare with. For the little I've played of DD with my bro, and the little I saw of MKWii and MK7, I can tell you the physics, though unrealistic, are much tighter than those of MK64.
Looking at TM, it's my observation, I get the feel like, despite the years of improved driving physics, the game still seems to move like an N64 driving game. I just wasn't impressed. Of course I'll wait until I play to reserve full judgement, but given the game just came out, and given the video I saw, I could only agree with the reviewer. That's really all I'm saying.
(Added by edit: I also never said TM was outdated. I only said the driving mechanics felt like they didn't evolve. That's all I was saying.)
About this place being fun, I find it very fun myself. I was just saying some people complain sometimes, and I read it. I was just saying I can take it, and love this place. But if it happened to others I can see why they're upset sometimes. That's all I was trying to say. And thanks for not jumping on me, it would've made things worse. That I appreciate.
(Also added by edit: This thread is a perfect example of how to bully a poster and make them feel disconnected because they simply hold a diverging opinion. I hope this is never done to anyone, or to me again.)
