i think it is more diverse
Wii is sports/party/dance based, HD is shooter based
but HD is more shooter based than Wii is party/sports based
if you count the numbers of titles released for each genre on each platform (DeduS post, regardless if they sold or not), Wii wins in 7 genres, Xbox360 in 3 and Ps3 in 2
and the only genres Wii is losing with a difference is RPG and Shooter, and wins with a difference the obvious ones as well as platformer, puzzle and simulation, from this point of view Wii has more choices per genre, regardless if Wii owners take advantage of this or not, which is why Wii lost almost all 3rd party support in 2011/2012
