Well I don't know if he's here or not, but I'm pretty sure I can answer this. He probably would have bought wii sports and a game in replacement of wii play. Those 2 games are the main non-gamer important games?? Sounds confusing I know.

What I'm trying to say is that there had to be some simple games for non-gamers to get into, because that is one of the selling points of wii(get non-gamers). If wii play didn't exsist I'm sure there would be some other kind of game just like it.

 I agree, and this is my point.

If you simply make the Wii Play/Sports figures vanish into thin air, that's obviously unfair to the Wii attachment rate. If those games simply did not exist, people would buy other stuff instead, plain and simple.


It's difficult to know precisely what to do with Sports and Play, I agree. They do skew the numbers, and it's odd to think that Wii Sports will probably be on the best seller list for the next 5 years without pause. I agree it's odd, but simply making those games disappear isn't the best solution.
