I think we will see Samaritan grafix next gen thanks to Sony, especially if they decide to launch the PS4 in 2014 instead of 2013 like MS.

Even though MS seems to go heavyily towards the casual market I expect the GPU in the Nextbox to be 10 times as powerful as the GPU in the Xbox 30.

I expect 12-16 times for the PS4, which would make it about twice as powerful as the Wii U.

There's a slim chance the PS4 GPU will be 16 times faster than the X360 but that'll only happen if PS4 releases in Nov 2014. I truly hope!

12 times the X360 is not twice the Wii U though. It would be four times faster than the Wii U since the Wii U is rumoured to be only 3 times faster than the X360. And you know what that means? It means that the Wii U might miss a lot of next gen's multiplatforms.

You know what a 12x jump means? A huge, hot console that costs a lot!

You know how much power it takes to run Samaritan at 720p? 4.4 x 360 power!

You know what that means? If Wii U is 3x -5x 360 it can get next gen ports.

What are you even basing this 12x to 16x jump on ? Nothing realistic, that's what.

I said the chance for a 16x increase for the PS4 over the X360 was slim (likely not going to happen) but if it did I assume it would be based on next year's Radeon chip, the 8000-series.

Now what we do know is that MS is basing its Nextbox GPU on the Radeon 7970 which is 10 times faster than the Radeon X1900 which the X360 was based on.

So if Sony with the PS4 would wait an extra year compared to MS they could base their GPU on a one year fresher Radeon GPU generation which if lucky could be 60% faster than the Radeon 7000-series.
