since when did he win a grammy? he didn't win a grammy. he just got mentioned in a trailer with like 50 others who worked or were involved in the music industry and died last year. and since apple has istore and mp3 players apple is involved in the music industry.

http://www.grammy.com/news/trustees-award-steve-jobs

And how does that in any shape "revolutionized" the music industry, other than the fact that those things had already existed before Steve Jobs "popularized" them?

but this isn't a grammy. i looked for all 78 or so grammys and he didn't win one and in your link you can read it:

"In addition to the GRAMMY Awards, The Recording Academy presents Special Merit Awards recognizing contributions of significance to the recording field, including the Lifetime Achievement AwardTrustees Award andTechnical GRAMMY Award"

so yeah he won something but not a grammy. and since this was not even in the show i think nobody shouldcare about this price^^

Trustees Award

This Special Merit Award is presented by vote of The Recording Academy's National Trustees to individuals who, during their careers in music, have made significant contributions, other than performance*, to the field of recording. (*Through 1983, recipients included performers.)

Again, where did Steve Jobs get it's career in Music?

It's not the issue of whether or not anyone should care about this prize, it's the fact that an award is given to someone who couldn't care less about the field of music per se, nor was it a participant in that field in anyway. What next, they're going to award the founders of Napster as well with a Trustee? Call me a sceptic, but I somehow don't see that happen

ok but it's still not a grammy and i just said that :)  if hje deserves this or not is another question but i really don't know a lot about jobs because i did never care about him or apple so i can't say something about this.
