As a PC/PS3 gamer, I think it's doubtful. I think Sony's spread out over too many 1st and 2nd party IP to devote much time and money developing hype for a 3rd party game. I don't honestly care about CoD sales, myself. It's going to sell a ton of units and Activision will reap hundreds of millions in profits. As a hardware manufacturer with a large stable of developer's, Sony's primary goal is to bolster interest in their own IP, additionally, Activision has a very very strong relationship with Microsoft and aren't about to abandon that, to truly push any game on the PS3 over the 360.

So, no, I really don't think it'll happen, myself. Of course, I quite honestly don't care. I'd much rather see their first party titles selling more units, just because they're typically of higher quality, and more fun to play (Not a fan of the MW series, so I realize this is just my opinion...though quality can't be argued).
