The industry needs better character modelers

I can't quite work out whether you are saying that War of the Roses has bad character models and that they need better modelers...

Or more likely considering how good I think the character models look compaired to most games, that War of the Roses has great models and that the rest of the industry needs more modelers of that level...

The bolded.

I was mainly talking about the face at the top. Even though it looks rather high poly, it's not very aesthetically pleasing imo. Same for the environments, high poly, no style.

The texture work is a bit plasticy but I see nothing wrong with any of the actual models, they are extreamly well detailed and look far more realistic than most games out today. The faces are not meant to be aesthetically pleasing per say but rather as a battleworn kinight, more Ron Perlman than Brad Pitt, and I think that effect is pulled off rather nicely.

The enviroments I do agree look rather odd, almost like a tabletop miniature than a real place, mostely because of the flat plasticy texture work and a lack of lighting. But overall I think that the game looks very good, it was never going to be some super stylized game as that would not fit the setting and tone of the game.
