Seriously, out of everyone on this I taught you might have seen sense. The sales for final fantasy on the 360 are pathetic and no where close to the ps3 counterpart. Of course you are not going to admit that but instead pull imaginary numbers out of your arse. For one of the most recognised franchises all of time, square enix should be worried that they couild barely push half a million on the 360. Yeah you are all well and good picking numbers out of your arse about profit but at the end of the day the sales are well below expectations and everyone knows that. "by your logic all the PS3 games that sold barely a million were abject failures and shouldnt have ever seen the light of day" Again what a terrible comparrison. These franchises such as yakuza or motorstorm are not system sellers like final fantasy and are very niche. They don't have multi million dollar ad campaigns with leona lewis singing the main theme song. When there is such a huge disparity in sales between the ps3 and 360 you have to wonder is the user base really the same. |
Sales on the X360 need not be anywhere near the sales on the PS3 for them to warrant an X360 version. SE will make money out of the X360 version, worry not. A more poignant concern is the fact that FFXIII-2 sold substatially less in Japan on the PS3. This whole debate owes more to PS3 fans being sour 'bout SE acknowledging the X360 as a relevant platform.
