I think the poll already fully answers the question, but really, is there any real competition to Nintendo's IPs?
Just a quick look at only Nintendo's IPs selling power, removing the big bundlers (Wii Sports/Play/Resort) and you clearly see dominance. Hell, even compared to nearly all multi-platform 3rd party games Nintendo IPs obliterate them.
Now, that's not to say there aren't gems out there too... Uncharted and Gears as absolutely fantastic.
