Just paid $16...
I am too old to have played his games when they actually came out, but I have played the first 2 monkey island games, and given the cost that I am paying to get the game for free, it seems like a good idea to encourage good developers to make good games! (not kinect ones)
It is great to see them raise money so quickly so and so easily, but I doubt that many are going to be able to replicate this as they won't have the popularity of Schafer
As for Psyconauts, I reckon that they will need FAR more money for that, as it is likely to be a full game on consoles, it will need far more money. I am sure any profits from this game will help, but they will probably need a proper publisher for that. I think the best thing would be to do this again, but mostly as a publicity stunt to show that there is support for the game
