Chocobo Racing 3D (3DS) Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3) Final Fantasy XIV (PC, PS3) Bravely Default: Flying Fairy (3DS) Final Fantasy X HD (PS3, Vita) Dragon Quest X (Wii, Wii U) Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (3DS) Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3) Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D (3DS)
And they probably have at least half a dozen unanounced projects including FF XV so they are busy cranking out stuff vs Sleeping Dogs (PC, 360, PS3) Thief 4 (PC, 360, PS3) Tomb Raider (PC, 360, PS3) Hitman: Absolution (PC, 360, PS3) Heroes of Ruin (3DS) n-Space game Wakfu (PC) / Islands of Wakfu (XBLA) Championship Manager: World of Football (Web) Quantum Conundrum (PC, XBLA, PSN)
So roughly a 50/50 split, it's just more people care about the western games as most of tha Japanese ones are spinoffs for mobile and an HD make plus their biggest announced game still has no release date and has been announced for 6 years at this point. The western side at least keeps their games under 4 years dev time. |
Well the key thing is that the western side is not really Square Enix, it is Eidos, Sqeenix still makes loads of game for the Japanese market, but not many big ones atm
