@OP. The changes Nintendo brought are welcome. Marry Nintendo to a 3rd party dev, the mixed-race children are absolutely beautiful.
Too bad Sony's Final Fantasy VII sucked out all the Nintendoness of Square and left Nintendo's ex bride high and dry. lol :P
All I'm sayin', through humor, is that Nintendo has a charm, and add that charm to your regular dev type (dark, serious) and you get just the right balance between grim and happy.
