Nintendo has wanted to diversify its line up for years. Nintendo Game cube was huge step forward first party titles like EternalDarkness and Giest plus RE4 exclusive. Nintendo did a lot to give its software line up diversity. With Nintendo Wii Nintendo tried initially getting titles like ManHunt2 but Nintendo failed to maintain this diversity. With WiiU Nintendo will want to try again. Reggie himself has said GTA is a title Nintendo has sought for years. Reggie also has explained RE5 was only absent on Wii because it was impossible to port not because Nintendo isn't trying.
