For MS what they want is to ship as much as possible, they get the money from retailers not consumers, but in this site is all about sales, and it is very much possible and in fact probable that PS3>360 last year.

Stop labeling people as "Sony fans", "360 fans" or whatever, if you can´t take an argument based on numbers that discredit your belief then don´t talk/post/listen/read what anybody says because you will be right all the time.

I was only kidding about the attack thing, although it doesnt help when he says things like "Right, i'm going to break this down for you & everybody else who is having trouble understanding how shipping & the retail channel work because i can see that a lot of people just don't understand the numbers."

Most people here, especially members who have been here long enough, have a general understanding of how shipping works. And to put things at its simplest...A company ships x amount of product y while only sells z of x. Its a basic premise and its not really that hard to get. And being here on a sales site all the other data that is needed to form some sort of opinion is right there for us to use.

So for him to claim that people dont understand the numbers just because they think 360 outsold ps3 can indeed be seen as an attack (he even went as far as to say you are a fanboy if you do think this). Because as far as im concerned there really isnt enough evidence to come to a conclusive finding. Which funny enough is exactly what he is doing despite hes greater understanding of retail shipping and sales.

Constantly when i come into threads about 360 vs ps3 in 2011 all i see now is post after post from people trying to claim that this website is biased towards Sony or that the majority of posters here are Sony fanboys who are 'deluded' & it's only this combined effort of fanboy delusion that keeps the numbers on this site the way they are 'in favour of Sony & the ps3'. It's a complete joke, all the sales data points towards Microsoft overshipping & Sony selling more to consumers for the year but fans of the 360 don't want to hear it.
