Just to be technical, the night without a kill was Night 4, Linkz died on Night 3. 

Maybe MetalGear's gift is more of a double-edged sword. What if MG turned Wonk into a Tree Stump, that would explain the lack of kill on Night 4 and the reduced number of votes needed to hammer yesterday.

Horrifying yet plausible -- but if it's the case, now that you've mentioned the possibility Wonk may as well tell us.
