MS has no way of knowing sold to consumer #'s. This is a fact.
Like NPD the best they can do is give an educated guess based on incomplete data.
I dunno why people still argue this.
When they talk sold it's always shipped numbers. This is not the movie industry where they can track damn near every ticket sold around the world.
If MS is trying to say they know how many consoles have been sold at retail then they are either full of crap or they are full of crap, end of story.
