inengine not ingame there is a difference, an in engine trailer is developer speak for using the engine to render a film much like movie studios do or in other words each frame could take any length of time to render and then the frames are later turned into a video. So if they wanted to they could make a CGI movie level trailer on a PS3 inengine, it would just take several years to render. But then they could still tell everyone that the trailer was inengine captured from a PS3 withot lieing.
The Last of Us was never going to look close to the trailer.
The screens look about standard for an early ingame bullshot (they clearly have a heavy antialiasing pass on top hence the complete lack of aliasing) they seem to have improved character models from Uncharted 3 a little bit but enviroment detail seems to have taken a bit of a hit in some areas compaired to Uncharted 3 bullshots but they may be placeholder assets and draw distance seems better.
