The real point is that vita MH sales are going to smash 3ds monster hunter sales. |
Keep dreaming. The next MH is a port... And MH 4 is coming to 3DS, so who do you think real MH fans will flock to. To refresh your memory, here are the sales for the MH's on PSP:
| Pos | Game | Platform | Year | Genre | Publisher | North America | Europe | Japan | Rest of World | Global |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Monster Hunter Freedom Unite | PSP | 2008 | Role-Playing | Capcom | 0.43 | 0.46 | 4.13 | 0.30 | 5.32 |
| 2 | Monster Hunter Freedom 3 | PSP | 2010 | Role-Playing | Capcom | 0.00 | 0.00 | 4.65 | 0.00 | 4.65 |
| 3 | Monster Hunter Freedom 2 | PSP | 2007 | Role-Playing | Capcom | 0.35 | 0.23 | 1.75 | 0.16 | 2.50 |
| 4 | Monster Hunter Freedom | PSP | 2005 | Role-Playing | Capcom | 0.23 | 0.00 | 1.03 | 0.03 | 1.29 |
As Freedom and Freedom 2 show, they didn't always do well on PSP. Since MH 4 is announced for 3DS, assuming it stays exclusive (at least timed exclusive), and with the current Vita base on a low trend, I'd say your prediction sucks.
