Do you know what is sad?
Most of us knew that at the time. A couple reporters do a study five years later and it makes it to CNN? At some point in time the news media will become aware that they are losing the information battle to bloggers.
Anyone remember THE BULGE? I bet not, since the mainstream press barely saw fit to print the fact that GWB was being fed answers in his debate against Sen. Kerry.
People in America, however, don't really care. They (We) vote on party lines, regardless of infractions, whether psychological or criminal.
But I think you would find this same thing to happen in most other countries. We're just human and we love money/power.
My condolences to Iraq and her people (not to Saddam, since I'm sure he needed a good butt-kicking anyway).
