Isn't this a bit of an unfair way of doing it? Comparing franchises with eight (possibly more?) installments, to some with only two. The list probably wouldn't change much anyway, but it should have been based on the averages of the games series' in my mind. Now it's just a "Who can milk franchises more?" type of dealio.
