How far are you in Skyward Sword?

It's a great game--easily the best game from 2011 that I've played--but it's taking too long! I shouldn't have gone after all of those side quests!

Make sure you go through the song of the dragons in the same fashion: woods, fire, desert. This will ensure you don't get hit by the game ending glitch.

Game is great and you still have a bit to do. 3 songs, another thing, another couple bosses... Also, between the other thing and bosses, one more side quest is really encouraged as it gives you a great defenisive power that really helps against the final bosses.

Oh.  Fuck.  I just got the song from the desert dragon!  I haven't gone to the woods or the fire, yet.  And then there's some other thing!?! And another!?  Some of these missions, while still very good, feel like $10 DLC from an HD game--just tacked on for people that enjoy the game.  Oh well--To the woods, Batman!

 

One thing, though. When I go to the woods, it says there's a strange phenomenon and I can't go anywhere except the temple.  If this is the glitch you are talking about, I will sell my Wii TODAY!

no, you're fine, but by going to the desert first... you could have triggered the glitch. But, it does take a few other steps while in the desert.

You should be safe. Once you land at the temple you'll soon see why you couldn't go anywhere else.
