Not to say that I'm a Leo-J/Crazzyman/Sony fanboy sympathizer, but it really does seem like VGchartz usually posts lower numbers than NDP for Sony consoles, and more than NDP for Nintendo consoles.

I don't think theres a conspiracy here, I can see why ioi would underestimate Sony consoles due to their recent under performance. As well as overestimate Nintendo, due to their recent strong performance.

I'm sorry, but this is simply not true. If you've been at VGChartz long enough, you'll see that every platform has been over/undertracked from time to time - exactly as anyone would expect from this kind of website. The PS3 was seriously overtracked in July, when ioi overestimated the effect of its initial price drop. The 360 was overtracked in October by a fair margin. The Wii has been over/underestimated as well on several occasions. It has nothing to do with bias, ioi just goes with whatever numbers he gets. Sometimes he'll be high, sometimes he'll be low.

Leo-j and Crazzyman don't deserve any credit either. They have zero evidence that the PS3 is actually being undertracked; they simply state what they want to see happen. Unless you believe Diomedes and think that the PS3 is undertracked by all tracking services (in all markets, at all times) they simply happened to get lucky here. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
