Because that is what MS has been doing all gen, moneyhatting right and left. GTA, COD, TOV, CoE, FF13, the list goes on and on, and how do you know that Sony DIDNT offer Irrational some money for MOVE support?? Id be more inclined to think they did, its buisness after all. Thats how it rolls. And if Bioware really think something as measly as voice recognition being used for a device that is mostly known for MOTION control will convince the soccer mom and grandma crowd to play ME3, they are in for a rude wake up call |
I don't think anyone thinks that BioWare will attract people who don't normally play action games, RPGs or shooters even. But there might be RPG fans, action fans or shooter fans out there thinking that voice recognition will make for an interesting way to play and they'll buy the game, even if they hadn't originally planned to.
I think the issue here is that we have two different views. I'd like to think this sort of thing is done because developers think it can improve their games, and you think that developers do it because money exchanged hands. But while there has definitely been made deals, I don't assume money has exchanged hands unless I see proof, and much of the moneyhatting Microsoft has been accused of this generation is purely speculation without conclusive proof.
