My PS1 CD holder thing fell to pieces on me when my GF at the time (now my wife) inserted Crash Bandicoot 3 into it. I freaked... then I pulled the tiny little shards out of the PS1. That clip Sony put into the PS1 to hold the CD's in place was the biggest piece of garbage I ever saw. It had dried out and become extremely fragile. My PS1 was maybe 3 years old at the time. I had to remake my own CD holder for the PS1 and I glued it on. I don't remember what I used for the ring but luckily I was able to get it up and running pretty quickly. Otherwise my PS1 is covered in PSM stickers like FF9 on the disc tray and RR on the side. It still looks in good condition (in it's box) but it's probably so freaking fragile now that I don't know how well it would work anymore.

My PS2 is crapping out on me as well. I have one of the fat models from 2002. The DVD tray makes a grinding noise when closing. The MEM card slots don't work very well and the fan is as noisy as ever. I'd say my PS2 is louder then my friends 360 that he brought over to my house. Anyway both Sony products were made crappy and it's no surprise to see any of them in such bad shape with normal usage. My NES, SNES and N64 all still function 100% so why don't my much newer Sony products last as well?

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
