I talked to Sony tech support and he basically told me that the only way to have the controllers to sync up is to attached the usb cable and then press the PS button. To me, it was just a hog wash answer. I believe that he didn't know what to tell me for a solution. I told him that my ps3 wasn't operating like that when I first bought it. But to no avail, he gave me the same answer no matter what. So, having some knowledge about pc restoration, it lights a bulb in my head. So I asked him if I restore my ps3 to it's original factory setting will the games that I purchased will not be re-downloaded, and he told me I can re-download it five times. So, I decided to restore my ps3 to it's factory settings which means that I have to reformat the hard drive in my ps3. To my amazement, it worked!!! Everyting is synching up like it supposed to. So I am sharing this with you guys out there that this is the solution for your sixaxis nightmarea Don't worry you can still re-download the games you purchased previously. Just go to and sign in to your PSN and go to "download list" on the right top portion of the screen once in PSN. You'll see all of your download histories in there. I hope this helps. Enjoy! ![]() |

Good luck!!
