yeah the problem is i believe we don't own the games after the purchase we just buy the right to play the game from the disc you get in the shop but it's still not yours. i believe this was like that maybe i'm talking garbage but there was something weird about the purchase of a game^^ maybe someone else knows more about this.


We own the disc based formats and have a right to resale (which is why Gamestop hasnt been taken under by the courts). Microsoft has talked about going digital and I hope they don't for their own sakes so soon. If they bar consumers and raise the prices of gaming it will not be pretty. The largest third party companies want an even bigger piece of the pie and this gen Microsoft seems to have gotten really chummy with Activision, which hiked the price of Xbox Live and made it worse off on us. They are more politically for other publishers than consumers.
