Trust me this is a good thing. what if they had made FF15 and it had come up with 8/10. and we know this 8/10 is about what a lot of reviews are saying, story, characters, and the delievery of that story. so they know now whats wrong. its the same problem as FF13. they need to get better writers which is the key thing. its by no means a bad thing, because its a sequel to a game a lot of fans wont be getting, so they cant do any more damage they've already done with this. i'm just hoping Wada is watching and has our FF12 team waiting for E3 to announce they've secretly been working on FF15 this whole time. hopefully... |
I know I've always defended FFXIII, but I agree with this. Square Enix really need to sort out the development teams for Final Fantasy and create a Final Fantasy game more like XII, that will still be hated, but at least by a different group of Final Fantasy fans this time.
I think Square's best bet would be to change Versus XIII to XV, the Fabula Nova Crystallis games show no real connection and it was a stupid idea. Versus XIII will soon be completed and I think it can definitely stand on it's own as a new installment, not as a sequel or a tie-in.
