Attatch rate grow as consoles age because it's cumlative you see if the average gamer buys 1-3 game a year, then someone that brought a 360 in 2005 would have 7-21 games by 2012, an average gamer who brought the console in 2006 would have 6-18 etc add in the small minority of core gamers that buy 4+ games a year and you end up with the attach rate of ~10. If the majorty of gamers brought 5 games a year the attach rate would be closer to 20.
