I have been ready for a while. The last really big thing this gen was Just Dance; and it has really been just updates of games ever since.
What I really hope is that the Wii U controllers are indeed used to play games (like VC games) even with the television off. That is a very exciting feature for me, to have that sort of access built into the new console. I would really love to play the real Chrono Trigger (as opposed to the DS remake) from my bedroom, for example, without having to have a TV and such in the room. Plus it would make cloud service largely irrelevant since the in-home handheld and home console are the same machine.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
