OT: Don't think we can take anything from this about PS3 numbers, bit too vauge on Nintendo's part.

Also why do we take Nintendos word as gospel if they're also using tracking measures? (and how do they actually get away with revealing Other manufacturers HW numbers I wonder.)

Sales numbers aren't property of other manufacturers.

It's the tracking agency that can license collected data for disclosure in whatever form they like.
