All the more reason to go in with an open mind and see what happens. And Dante being the son of a demon and human doesn't explain why he has white hair unless it's explicitly used as a reason for it.
I'm not saying DmC is going to be the best thing ever or even a good game at all. I just think it's silly to think that explaining some characteristic can't lead to a good game. There could be a myriad of reasons for why Dante's hair is the way it is, and Ninja Theory is trying to show players the adventure which leads to it. For all we know, it's going to be one hell of a ride.
