No doubt Wii is undertracked by almost 200k in Germany but, how much is "uncontested market leader" in 2011?

We can be overtracking the PS3 by 10k or 200k, so major adjustments to PS3 numbers can´t be made, or am I missing something?

so PS3 has to be below 800k... we have no idea if that 1k under or 100k under...

VGC figures is a little different than what is reported... Wii 800k could be showed 805k here.

So the only afirmation we can get in this news is the Wii is undertracked... nothing says about PS3 (over or under).

Well given the 1.9m = 60% market share figure they quote (3DS+DS+Wii for 2011) that means there is 1.26m to share between the PS3, PSP and 360.

So 800k for the PS3 seems very, very unlikely.

If I'm not wrong... Sony said weeks ago the PS3 exceed 3 million in Germany... VGC show today 3.3m... if PS3 is overtracked it's not so much.

The news is 22.12.2011... the VGC sales for the same period is 3.18m... seems right.

Actually it seems like 200K overtracked according to your link.

Over 3 million... is over 3 million... 3.18m in VGC... up to 180k over.

They only say they Reach 3M when its close to the number not when is 180K over or 200k over.
