Honestly, probably not for awhile. Next year's release will prolly break MW3's 1st week numbers just by the install base alone, and then the year after that (or possibly 2 years) we'll have the first "next-gen" COD, and you know that's gonna sell like gangbusters because it will be the first COD in a long time with an all new engine designed to take advantage of next-gen hardware, and then the cycle will just continue for the next few years just like it has this generation with annual "sequels" that are nothing more than full-priced expansion packs.
